Garth married his high school sweetheart, Karen, earned bachelors and masters degrees from Penn State, and led the Idaho Falls office for a Fortune 500 technology company. Garth & Karen bought their first home in Idaho Falls, and are raising their five children here. Garth left executive management and the corporate world to become the person he wished he could have consulted when making the transition. He found that employees are in an inherently reactive position. He learned the folly of over-relying on employer benefits. His triathlete brother just diagnosed with cancer, he witnessed the deep need for sound insurance and financial planning. Now independent and networking with experts, Garth ensures that every client’s situation receives expert attention for a life of optimum flexibility and independence.
Garth is active in the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce (Ambassadors and Business Resources committees), Toastmasters International, and is the founder and sponsor of Success For Youth – a leadership program within the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce for fostering personal development and professional mentorship for youth ages 15 – 18.
